Process description
Diamine acid is extracted from crude oil. It is combined with adipic acid which reacts and creates a polymer called nylong salt. This salt is heated to create a molten substance before being extruded through a metal spinneret. These are loaded onto a bobbin, stretched to give it strength and elasticity and then wound onto a spool before being spun.
